In 2012 a secret LDS Charity was set up in Australia to commit tax fraud.

In 2021 $70 million was sent from Salt Lake City to LDS Charities Australia. This enabled tithe payers in Australia to deduct 100% of their donations from their taxes. Warrior Spirit

Ra Puriri packed his suitcase and flew 9,000 miles from the coastal community of Raglan, New Zealand, to Salt Lake City—all to perform an act of dissent. It was late September 2015, and the Maori Mormon, who comes from six generations of devout members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, put on a suit, pinned up his shoulder-length hair and went to the downtown Mormon Tabernacle to join other church members watching General Conference proceedings on huge screens. It’s rare that Mormons vote in opposition to their spiritual leaders. And it’s perhaps even rarer that a Maori … Continue reading Warrior Spirit

Whoever signed document (2) forgot the “o” or “n” in President Monson’s signature

(1) Invitation to watch General Conference. February 2016.   (2) Request to cancel the annual independent accounting audit of church finances in New Zealand after 60 years. Less oversight and accountability. June 2011 February 2016 Who signed President Thomas S Monson’s name on this request to the New Zealand government in 2011?  To reduce oversight and the checks and balances over church finances in New Zealand? It’s  clearly not the same signature. All three signatures of the first presidency are on document (1) This is the protocol. Only President Monson’s signature was on document (2)      Continue reading Whoever signed document (2) forgot the “o” or “n” in President Monson’s signature

Black lives did not matter to Mormons before June 9, 1978

The Church refuses to honestly disavow and apologize for its historical racism related to Blacks and the Priesthood. More time, energy and money has been spent on getting people to stop calling Mormons-Mormons. The atonement and repentance does not apply to the church institution, only to its people. If you do not repent you can lose your temple recommend or get excommunicated. These attitudes and ways of thinking are the roots of racism. They need to be dug up and cut off. Walls of Silence: Protecting the Institution Over the Individual

Missionary organizations are not exempt from the sin that inflicts many Christian institutions, the sin of institutional self-centeredness. The stated purpose of most missionary organizations is generally centered on reaching peoples with the gospel.  Unfortunately, as some institutions grow and develop, their purpose often becomes less about the gospel, and more about the sustained existence of institution.  This purpose is often rationalized with an implicit philosophy that the reputation of the Gospel rests upon the “successes” and “failures” of the organization. “A culture that silences its membersfrom speaking with each otherabout suspected abuse is onewhere abuse will almostalways flourish. Institutional-centered … Continue reading Walls of Silence: Protecting the Institution Over the Individual

2009- 2017 Tithing increased by 43% in New Zealand.

From 2009 to 2017 tithing donations in New Zealand have increased by 43%. Church membership has been in steep decline over the past 10 years. Inactive members have grown to over 60%. If the steady increase in tithing donations are not coming from members of the church in New Zealand, then where is the money coming from? Have the financial wizards in Takapuna taken a page from EPA in Salt Lake City? Are they using the secret $152 million + NZ rainy day fund to manipulate the tithing donations? Why would they do this? To meet the criteria for building … Continue reading 2009- 2017 Tithing increased by 43% in New Zealand.

This must be kept secret

I think we are focusing on the wrong issues with respect to the $100 billion rainy day fund. Does the church hold its members , leaders and employees to the exact same standard of integrity and truth? Bishop Burton and the PBO lied to the public, the First Presidency, 12 Apostles, general church leadership and members about the use of tithing funds to build City Creek Center. This is why the independent auditing committee was disbanded in 2001. And why EPA was created in 1997. The $1.4 billion was not a bailout of City Creek Center. It was the financing … Continue reading This must be kept secret

Black Box Thinking

The Book in Three Sentences Success can only happen when we confront our mistakes More people die from mistakes made by doctors and hospitals than from traffic accidents. Aviation, on the other hands, has created an astonishingly good safety record because mistakes are learned from rather than concealed. The Five Big Ideas The single greatest obstacle to progress is failing to learn from mistakes. A cornerstone to success is a progressive attitude to failure. “Only by redefining failure will we unleash progress, creativity, and resilience.” “When we are confronted with evidence that challenges our deeply held beliefs we are more likely … Continue reading Black Box Thinking

Soulless to Soulful

The Children of Israel-itis. The Mormon-Egyptian ruling class have stripped people of the capacity to make informed compassionate choices. We are slaves to a form of godliness, obedience, that denies the power thereof LOVE. The sword of extortion and quid pro quo have reduced us to a myopic and selfish focus on the daily mud brick quota. Stomping straw into the mud to get the next bowl of ‘temple recommend” slop. The end justifies the means and we step on each others heads if we have to. The soul dies while the body lives like a marionette. It took 40 years … Continue reading Soulless to Soulful

Silence = Complicity

March 6, 2017 by Annemarie Shrouder  Many of you are likely familiar with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s quote: “There comes a time when silence becomes betrayal.” I would argue that time has nothing to do with it. Silence equals betrayal anytime – whether we realize it or not, whether we are alone or in a group – because it equals complicity. When we don’t speak up about racism, or homophobia, or sexism, or ableism, or islamophobia, the message sent is that we agree with what is happening. If we are there in the moment, we have an opportunity to speak up … Continue reading Silence = Complicity

D&C 121:34-46

Paid $100 million of the widows mite for the drawing on the left. Ended up with the crayon drawing on the right. Temple View real estate development project. 34 Behold, there are many acalled, but few are chosen. And why are they not chosen? 35 Because their ahearts are set so much upon the things of this bworld, and caspire to the dhonors of men, that they do not learn this one lesson— 36 That the arights of the priesthood are inseparably connected with the powers of heaven, and that the powers of heaven cannot be bcontrolled nor handled only upon the cprinciples of righteousness. 37 That they may be conferred upon us, it is true; but when … Continue reading D&C 121:34-46

Good Mormon loan approved. Bad Mormon loan denied.

The Restrictive Covenants have been changed The original set of Restrictive Covenants were too restrictive. Paul Coward used two sets of covenants to discriminate and keep certain “undesirables” from purchasing homes in close proximity to the temple. The two most egregious covenants insured that bank financing would be denied. Can not rent the house. Can not object to any future RMA application for development on any church property. Both of these have been removed. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bz10WpL0BxogWmU5dWhQQ3A1UTdfUEM0czh4Mzcxay1mNTBR/view?usp=sharing Continue reading Good Mormon loan approved. No political freedom for the knower.

When someone speaks but is not heard because of their accent, or their sex, or the color of their skin, they suffer a distinctive form of injustice-they are undermined as a knower. This kind of injustice, which I call testimonial injustice, is not only an ethical problem but also a political one, for citizens are not free unless they get a fair hearing when they try to contest wrongful treatment. I shall argue that not only individuals but also public institutions need to have the virtue of testimonial justice. If our police, our juries, our complaints panels lack that virtue, … Continue reading No political freedom for the knower.
