Temple Recommend Threat

Very very High Church Leader last month:

“If you want to see your son go through the temple, then you need to support the brethren and stop asking questions. They know what they are doing.”

  1. First off, clearly the brethren do not know what they are doing, that is plainly obvious from the monumental stuff ups that have occurred under their watch in regards to CCNZ and the Temple View sparkvelopment.

Second, I was totally unaware that asking questions was a determining factor in getting a temple recommend nor was I aware that it was one of the questions asked at a temple recommend interview.

Thirdly, this very high church leader, no matter who he is or what position he holds, is unworthy of a temple recommend as he is clearly in violation of questions 12(a), 13 and 14. He needs to earnestly repent and bring himself in line with the Gospel of Jesus of Christ.

Finally, the US Code of Federal Regulations defines terrorism as, “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives”. What this high church leader has done fits perfectly within the definition of terrorism. Wouldn’t terrorism fit comfortably within the definition of conduct unbecoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?
