Stop paying Tithing

I am going to suggest an action of civil disobedience, silent protest and POSITIVE ACTION related  to tithing that will continue to show the Lord that you love him and at the same time shake up the House of Unrighteous Dominion.

You are not powerless. This is how you can cast a vote for honesty, transparency and following sacred tithing doctrine as revealed in the scriptures. Exercise your agency, climb to the top of the wall like Samuel the Lamanite, and vote with your dollars.

Your donations should not be used to relocate POOR PEOPLE and  help MORE PROSPEROUS people live closer the the temple.

STOP PAYING TITHING

Pay your 10% donations directly to the ward budget or fast offering fund

Write the name of your branch or ward ward on the tithing slip and your donations will stay in your community. This will place the disposition of these funds in the hands of your local priesthood leaders. They will do the right thing.

You are making sure that your hard earned donations are going to help those in need and to build up the Lords Kingdom locally. NOT for global profit making ventures, make work projects, salaries and false consulting reports.

The funds will be out of the reach of the business development arm of the church, PRI that uses the “protect the temple” fence doctrine to justify and pay for the real estate development project in Temple View.

Millions have been spent on earthquake strengthening, replacing the steeples on chapels and the housing project in Temple View . All supported by false structural engineering reports form Beca Engineering.

Church employees and leaders have admitted that this opinion / doctrine is “imprecise yet still accurate,” which really means that the end justifies the means.

  1. Ra, I love the sentiment and reasoning behind this suggestion. Unfortunately, the church became aware of this possible scenario some time ago and in 2012 made a surreptitious change to tithing policy. Tithing funds are no longer allocated in accordance with your wishes. On the tithing form itself it says the following:

“Though reasonable efforts will be made globally to use donations as designated, all donations become the Church’s property and will be used at the Church’s sole discretion to further the Church’s overall mission.”

Obviously the Church’s overall mission is to protect the temple from the economically disadvantaged.

The following link shows a picture of the old and the current tithing slip.

You will see that the new tithing slip clearly states that the Church will use donations however it wants regardless of your wishes. Fast offering can be used however the Church wants, Tithing can be used however the Church wants and that Ra is exactly how they justify the non-scriptural and anti-Christ use of, what should be, sacred funds. Once again man-made policy over-rules revelation given by Jesus Christ.

A possible course of action would be for LDS to hand their tithing over as cash in an envelope without a tithing slip but with written instructions that it be used in the ward budget fund. If the Bishop returns it because it doesn’t have a slip then thank him for the money and consider yourself a full tithe payer. There is no revelation from the Lord that requires LDS to fill out tithing slip. You paid your tithing when the Bishop accepted your envelope, if the Bishop should so happen to give the exact sum back to you, its your good fortune.

I would also suggest that LDS take personal responsibility for their tithes and offerings. I would suggest that they do this while taking much more notice of what the Lord says instead of what some suits in Salt Lake tell them. We should be following the resurrected living Redeemer, we should not be man-worshippers. Speaking of the law of tithing the Lord said:

“And I say unto you, if my people observe not this law, to keep it holy, and by this law sanctify the land of Zion unto me, that my statutes and my judgments may be kept thereon, that it may be most holy, behold, verily I say unto you, it shall not be a land of Zion unto you.” D&C 119:6

It is up to the people, it is up to LDS, to observe the law and keep it holy.
