When there is no competition there is no incentive to lower prices and provide value

A fundamental principle of the free market and creating value for customers is competition and  choice. There has been only one approved builder in Temple View, Cambridge Homes. This combined with some rather restrictive design covenants such as white houses and white fences have raised the bar far beyond the reach of 99% of home buyers. Requiring buyers to not oppose any future plans has become very problematic. The result has been the construction of only 10 new homes in five years.

I would love to raise my family there but we cannot afford to live in Temple View, is the topic of many conversations.

It would be a very positive step if managers of the project eliminated the design covenants and approved three other builders that were permitted to offer their most economical house plans.

You will not double the population of Temple View by relying on the Temple as the focus of the marketing campaign.

Affordability, choice and livability which includes community recreation facilities and a future expansion plan for Koromatua school when it reaches its limit of 300 students.
