The rule of the few: One to a few persons raising concerns or asking questions does not warrant our attention. Five hundred to one thousand would get our attention and we might do something.

I was hoping that we could move beyond the obstacle that popular opinion and the voice of “many” always has the last say on spiritual truths and matters of integrity . And that a “few” persons had no merit in such matters.

Were would we be if the “rule of a few” were applied to our missionaries, Jesus Christ, the pioneers and Joseph Smith?

All of the seeds resulting in significant shifts from darkness to light and truth in our church, were planted by one to a few persons who were persecuted by the many.

Can we please focus squarely on the merits of the issues being raised and not on how many people are raising them.
