The dorms are not temple appropriate housing
This was the response to a question about why the dorms could not be remodeled into low cost Temple patron housing for families who come to the temple and cannot afford the $60.00 a night cost to stay at the motel.
He arrogantly added … people should not be sharing kitchens and bathrooms and things like that, then go to the temple, its inappropriate.
We are spending millions on making the environs around the temple “sparkle” the outward appearance and ZERO dollars for affordable community accommodations so the 99% can attend the temple or stay at no cost.
This is spiritual discrimination and marginalization of the worst kind.
